Marshall Allman

Marshall Allman

Character: LJ Burrows

Date of Birth: April 5th, 1984

Age: 23

A native Texan, Marshall Scott Allman was born 5th April 1984 in Austin and started acting at 15. A talented artist and soccer player, Marshall turned down the opportunity to study art in New York for the chance of an acting career after graduating from Austin High School in 2002. Allman was successful as he landed guest roles in hit shows such as Boston Public, Without a Trance, Malcolm in the Middle and The Practice before obtaining his role as LJ Burrows in Prison Break.
To show that his talent does not confine itself only in acting, Marshall co-wrote and starred in the successful "Devil's Night" which made its premiere March 31st 2006 and the feature film version is currently underway.
Marshall Allman and Jamie Anne Brown married in Austin, Texas on 17th June 2006.

LJ Burrows

At fifteen, there's not much more in your life besides school, homework, parents and friends. That was the case for Lincoln Junior Burrows (Marshall Allman) until his father's last appeal had been rejected and a date had been set for his execution. LJ's mum, Lisa Rix, and dad, Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell), have been separated since he was very young. LJ visited his father every Sunday, which then turned into scarce visits from Lincoln, which turned into nothing at all. Hurt and confused, LJ blocked out his feelings and decided that the best way to deal with the situation is to pretend that he never had a father, "it wasn't an immaculate conception honey, trust me" (Lisa Rix).
Before Lincoln's execution date was set, LJ was a good boy. He lived with his mum and step-dad in a nice Chicago suburb, he got mostly A's in school and he never got into any serious trouble. However, with his father's execution date just around the corner, and his uncle being arrested, LJ lost it. LJ was arrested for possession of marijuana and put on probation. LJ also had to visit a mentor at Fox River, his father, once a week. LJ had previously been to visit his father recently and had been full of anger and resentment towards Lincoln. The visit ended with LJ declaring, "you're already dead to me" before walking off. But after the first few visits, Lincoln and LJ grew closer and started repairing their relationship, and Lincoln was able to express his love to his son. Lincoln then asked LJ to be present at his execution, and with tears streaming down his face, LJ accepted.
Meanwhile, Agents Kellerman and Hale are trying to get rid of Veronica Donovan (Robin Tunney) and Nick Savrinn (Frank Grillo) and decide to also threaten to eliminate LJ to keep Lincoln quiet, "One Burrows is going to die, it's up to you which one." Kellerman and Hale then proceeded to murder LJ's mother and stepfather and framed him for it, and then issued a warrant for his arrest. LJ was on the run for a while barefoot, until Lincoln contacted him and told him to call Veronica.
Veronica and LJ then sent Kellerman and Hale on a wild goose chase, pretending that LJ had gone to Lake Mercer where in fact he had gone to New Glarus to join Veronica and Nick. Despite being in an isolated cabin, Agent Quinn found them and attempted to kill all three. Fortunately, LJ managed to push him down an empty well, and then they escaped again.
They went back to Nick's apartment. On the day of Lincoln's execution, Veronica got ready to go say her goodbyes. LJ begged to go with her to see his father one last time, but Veronica refused, knowing that LJ would be arrested. After reaching Fox River and talking to Lincoln for a while, Veronica called LJ on her cell phone and let Lincoln talk to LJ for the last time. LJ told his father about a dream he had about them building a house, but he felt that they were older in the dream so he was sure that they would see each other again. LJ's words affected Lincoln a lot, as he bowed his head with tears in his eyes.
When Lincoln's execution did not go ahead, Nick, Veronica and LJ went back to New Glarus to see if Agent Quinn had left any evidence. LJ was lowered into the well and retrieved Quinn's mobile phone, but he also found the names "Owen Kravecki" and "Kellerman" carved on the side of the well. LJ gave the mobile phone to Veronica and Nick but left the names to himself.
After Nick and Veronica rushed out to analyze the data on Quinn's mobile phone, LJ used a laptop to find Owen Kravecki's address. LJ then broke into Kellerman's house and tried to shoot him. Unfortunately, LJ was arrested when a neighbour called the police.
LJ is currently in jail for the murder of his mother and stepfather and the attempted murder of Owen Kravecki.

Sarah Wayne Callies

Sarah Wayne Callies

Character: Dr. Sara Tancredi

Date of Birth: June 1st, 1977

Age: 30

Sarah Wayne Callies was born Sarah Anne Callies on 1st June 1977 in La Grange, Illinois but at the age of one moved to Honolulu with her parents Valerie Wayne and David Callies, who are professors at the University of Hawaii. Sarah's father teaches law and her mother teaches English.
Sarah was always interested in acting even as a child, and was a student at Punahou School which is an exclusive private school where Kelly Preston, Director Jim Simpson (husband of Sigourney Weaver) and AOL's Steve Case and where she took part in a lot of the school plays.
After she graduated from high school in 1995, Callies attended Dartmouth College where she graduated with an undergraduate emphasis in Feminist Studies and a Senior Fellowship in Indigenous Studies in 1999 and then acquired a Master in Fine Arts at Denver's National Theater Conservatory in 2002. Throughout her college days, Callies never left acting and continued with her passion. The beautiful auburn haired actress has also done commercials for L'Oreal cosmetics.
Callies started her acting career with a recurring role on Queens Supreme, and had to move to New York City when she got it. Sarah married her college sweetheart Josh Winterhalt on 21st June 2002 and their first child is scheduled to be born August 2007.

Dr. Sara Tancredi

Intelligent, kind, passionate and beautiful, Dr. Sara Tancredi seems to have it all. However, as you dig beneath the surface, you realise that Sara's life isn't all that. As a child, her father was mostly absent from her life, she tells Michael that her father has been present for only a few birthdays out of the 29 she has had and only sends her flowers when he is absent. Her father is Illinois Governor "Frontier Justice" Frank Tancredi, but Sara is hesitant to claim him as her father when Michael asks her.
Sara is his only daughter and due to his prolonged absences when she was a child and her mother's resentment towards him, she has a more than cool relationship with her father.
Sara Tancredi had chosen her profession from a young age. However, growing up in the suburbs of Chicago, she assumed that she would be situated in a nice, sheltered private practice or hospital. But during her freshman year in Northwestern, her life was turned around by the one and only Mahatma Gandhi. "Be the change you want to see in the world." Sara then decided to follow a more humanitarian path. However, she abused her privileges as a doctor by stealing morphine and needles for herself and her other drug addict boyfriends. During this time, her father had to use his authority to keep her and her boyfriends out of prison, which is something he still seems to resent when Sara asks him to look over Lincoln's case.
Three years prior to Michael's arrest, Sara was walking down the street with one of her boyfriends, clearly under the influence of morphine. Right before her eyes, a young boy is hit. Witnesses try in vain to help him, when Sara's hospital ID is noticed and she is asked to help. However, she couldn't because of the morphine she had taken. Clearly shocked and shattered, Sara takes the reins in both hands and steers her life in the other direction. She stops taking drugs and decides to return back to her high school quote, "Be the change you want to see in the world."
At a recovering addicts meeting, she meets Captain Bellick who tells her of the job vacancy at Fox River and asks her out to dinner. She declines politely but goes for the job.
Dr. Sara Tancredi is one of the few doctors in Fox River; therefore she has an immense load on her shoulders. She is responsible for everything from administering medication to performing minor surgery. Sara's job at Fox River is a constant annoyance to her father, as he is always worried about what may happen to her. This happened especially after Sara was almost raped and hurt by the inmates in Sick Bay during the riot. Despite this incident, Sara returns to work the next day, showing that she had the courage and fortitude to do what she believes in.
From the moment they met, Sara realised that there was something different with Michael. In fact, they realise that they might have even met at parties during university, this does not regularly occur between a doctor and an inmate. She finds herself drawn to Michael, firstly to find out why such an intelligent, successful man who doesn't seem to be at all violent end up in a prison like Fox River. Sara searches for answers, and isn't quite sure what to make out from the bits and pieces she finds. Being a logical, smart woman, her mind is telling her that Michael is an inmate, he can't be trusted, but her heart says something else.
Sara finds herself falling for Michael and is utterly shocked and extremely jealous when she sees Michael coming out of the conjugal room with his "wife" Nika. She tries to give him the cold shoulder and hide her feelings for him, but after a while Sara lets down her barrier and shares a kiss with Michael in the infirmary.
Sara agrees to help Michael out when he asks her to go to her father. Despite her almost non-existent relationship with her father, she tries to get her father to reconsider Lincoln's case. However, her efforts are all in vain when things turn for a worst and she ends up having a disagreement with her father and he calls her a thief, cheat and a liar.
The magnitude of her love for Michael is shown when he tells her about his escape and asks her to leave the infirmary door open that night. After much deliberation, Sara goes back and unlocks the door for Michael. She then returns home and overdoses on morphine because she is overwhelmed with what she has done. Her fate is currently unknown.

Robert Knepper

Robert Knepper

Character: Theodore Bagwell

Date of Birth: July 8th, 1959

Age: 48

Robert Lyle Knepper was born in Fremont, Ohio on 8th July 1959 but was also raised in Maumee, Ohio where his father, Donald Knepper, worked as a veterinarian. His love for acting may have begun when his mother, Pat Deck, who passed away in 2003, was working in the props department for the community theatre, thus getting him involved in the productions.
His passion for acting lead him to study drama after he graduated from Maumee High School in 1977 at Northwestern University which he quit in 1981 when he was about to graduate. During his time at Northwestern, Knepper also experienced professional roles in plays in Chicago but then after leaving Northwestern went to New York City and continued in theatre.
Knepper started his film career with That's Life in 1986 and was about to give up acting before he was cast as T-Bag in Prison Break and become a park ranger to support his family. Knepper is married to Tori Herald and has one son with her, Benjamin Peter Knepper.
He is currently filming "Hitman" and has only revealed that his character is "a Russian bad guy".
Theodore Bagwell

You don't want to be stuck sharing a cell with T-Bag (Robert Knepper). You don't want to be on T-Bag's bad side either. In short, you don't want anything to do with T-Bag at all. T-Bag is one of the most dangerous and notorious predators, if not THE most dangerous in Fox River.
T-Bag has lead a life of crime since practically the minute he could walk. As a child, he was often caught vandalising and assaulting animals. When he was 10 years old, he was caught trying to set fire to his teacher's house and was sent to juvenile hall. That was when he joined the Alliance for Purity, a white supremacy group.
As T-Bag grew older, his crimes became more serious and harmful. His offences included: battery, assault with a deadly weapon and attempted murder. He was arrested and sent to Alabama's Donaldson maximum security prison for four years, where he became leader of the Alliance for Purity. After finishing his sentence, T-Bag went on a murdering spree across Alabama, making him one of America's most wanted men.
T-Bag was finally jailed for life after kidnapping, raping and murdering six students after his girlfriend Susan Hollander (K.K. Dodds) recognised him on the television and called the police. He may be seeking revenge against her after he escapes.
Not wanting him back with his fellow members of the Alliance of Purity in Donaldson, T-Bag was sent to Fox River where he promptly began his own branch of the cult. The Alliance of Purity is currently one of the most powerful gangs in Fox River.
Not being forgoing his old ways, T-Bag hunts down young men and fellow inmates to fulfill his needs. His first voluntary partner was Jason Buchanan, also known as Maytag (Brian Hamman), who was killed in a riot. After Maytag, T-Bag was given Seth Hoffner a.k.a Cherry (Blaine Hogan) as a "present" by his friends. Seth was obviously uncomfortable and depressed about the situation but was too afraid to say anything to T-Bag. Seth eventually approached Michael in the showers and asked for help, but Michael's ears were deaf to his pleas. Shortly after, Seth hanged himself. Michael blamed himself and was convinced that he could've stopped it.
T-Bag had far from a perfect home. As Captain Brad Bellick broadcasted just before the riot, T-Bag's father raped his sister who had Down's Syndrome and T-Bag was the result. Bellick insulted T-Bag and called him "the inbred child of a retard".
When Michael arrived at Fox River, T-Bag wanted him as one of his "partners" and tried to flirt with him and flatter him into it, "One thing's for sure, you're just as pretty as advertised. Prettier even." When Michael refused, he was already in T-Bag's bad books. A few days later, during the riot, Maytag was killed and T-Bag thought that Michael had done it and wanted his revenge.

T-Bag finds the hole by accident during the second riot and threatens them by saying either he's in or he'd "sing like Johnny Cash". The rest of the inmates in the escape group despise T-Bag but have to let him in. Abruzzi and T-Bag had it in for each other from day one.
T-Bag escaped with the rest of the inmates, and knowing that Abruzzi would try to dispose of him, he handcuffed himself to Michael. T-Bag knew that Abruzzi wouldn't be getting rid of Michael because he held information about the whereabouts of Fibonacci that he desperately wanted. However, T-Bag underestimated Abruzzi and had his hand cut off by an axe.
T-Bag was left behind by the inmates and was last seen running alone in the woods.

Paul Adelstein

Paul Adelstein

Character: Paul Kellerman

Date of Birth: April 29th, 1969

Age: 38

Paul Adelstein was born on 29th April 1969 in Chicago, Illinois. At 6'2", this actor/musician is most famous for his role as Agent Kellerman in Prison Break, but is currently filming a new show "Private Practice" a spin-off of "Grey's Anatomy" and plays the role of Cooper, a gynecologist.
Paul graduated summa cum laude with an English degree from Bowdoin College and then started acting in theatre, in John Cusack's company called New Crime Productions and then with the Steppenwolf Theatre Company. Adelstein is also the lead vocals and guitarist in his band called Doris.
Paul married Liza Weil in November 2006, who is well known for her psychotic character Paris Gellar in the sitcom "Gilmore Girls".

Paul Kellerman

Kellerman is a man with a mission. Make sure that Lincoln Burrows is executed or else. Anyone who gets in his way is eliminated. Even his partner, who was also his close friend.
During season 1, which was only a few weeks long, he killed six people and attempted to kill another three. The six that were murdered were: Lisa Rix and Adrian (LJ's mother and step-father), Sebastian (Veronica's ex-fiance), Leticia Barris (Crab Simmons' girlfriend), his partner Agent Danny Hale and Quinn, who was hired by "The Company" to replace Kellerman and Hale. Agent Kellerman also attempted to murder Veronica Donovan, Nick Savrinn and LJ Burrows.
Fifteen years ago, Paul Kellerman graduated from West Point. He then fought in the Gulf War and was the first to be promoted to captian. Kellerman had a promising future in the army, but was approached by the Secret Service, offering him a leadership position. On his application, Kellerman wrote that he wanted to become a Secret Service agent "to help defend our country".
Paul Kellerman and Daniel Hale were partners for five years. Kellerman was seen as the ruthless one, shooting anybody in his way, whereas Hale was more hesitant. In the end, Hale decided to give it all up and move away. He contacted Veronica Donovan and arranged to meet her so that he could give her information that will lead to the exoneration of Lincoln Burrows. However Kellerman joined them, and upon learning that Hale was giving Veronica names including his own, Kellerman shot Hale dead. Daniel Hale had young children and a pregnant wife.

Kellerman?s alias is Owen Kravecki, a sales manager for a beef jerky company. He was almost killed by LJ Burrows, but the police intervened before anything happened.
Kellerman seems to personally know President Caroline Reynolds, as he sometimes makes personal references during conversations, seems to be very comfortable with her and also genuinely cares about her. We know that they have known each other since at least 1992, but are not sure how long. We are currently unaware of any past or present relationships between Paul Kellerman and Caroline Reynolds.
Officially, Paul Kellerman is not listed as a member of the Secret Service or even as an employee of the Federal Government.

Wade Williams

Wade Williams

Character: Brad Bellick

Date of Birth: December 24th, 1961

Age: 46

Brad Bellick

Captain Bellick (Wade Williams) is the guy you love to hate. Every prison has a Bellick. He likes his authority, and takes an immediate dislike to Michael from the beginning. Bellick and Michael?s bitter relationship started when Bellick assumed that Michael was trying to be smart with him. His dislike towards Michael deepened during the shakedown when the Warden wouldn?t allow Bellick to check Michael?s cell and told him to ?move along?. Brad Bellick had wanted to be a C.O. (correctional officer) his whole life. Within a couple of months of graduating from high school, Bellick passed the C.O exam and has been at Fox River ever since. In that time he has risen the ranks and has been promoted to captain, despite alleged claims of inmate abuse. His duties comprise of: aiding in the transportation of death row inmates to the electric chair, supervising Fox River?s prison industries program and regulating the day-to-day activites of the inmates in gen pop. The way in which the Warden and Bellick see the prisoners is vastly different. Henry Pope sees them as men who have taken a wrong turn in life and need to be rehabilitated, whereas Bellick sees them as cons who need to be punished. Despite this immense difference in opinions, Henry Pope hopes to promote Bellick to the position of Warden after his retirement. Captain Bellick is a recovering drug addict. In fact he met Dr. Sara Tancredi at a meeting for recovering addicts and offered her the job at Fox River and asked her out to dinner, to which she politely declined (poor guy). He still lives with his mother and frequently visits stripper clubs where he is on first name basis with the girls. Bellick is one crooked C.O. He allows Abruzzi to run PI in exchange for money, and when Abruzzi?s funding is temporarily cut off he hands the reins over to Gus Fiorello who starts filling Bellick?s pockets instead. Bellick lies, cheats, steals from inmates and also abuses them but has yet to be caught. Bellick is thought to have killed Charles Westmoreland?s pet cat, Marylin. At the end of season 1, Bellick was attacked by Westmoreland, bound and gagged and thrown into the hole where he was trapped for hours. Bellick is currently furiously trying to track down the escapees. ?They just signed their own death warrents?.

Stacy Keach

Stacy Keach

Character: Henry Pope

Date of Birth: June 2nd, 1941

Age: 66

Henry Pope

Henry Pope (Stacy Keach) is different than most prison wardens. He does not see the inmates in the same light as people like Captain Bellick (Wade Williams), and believes more in rehabilitation than punishment. He has been warden at Fox River for eighteen years and in that time has set up several programs for the inmates. Pope has organised an educational program allowing inmates to receive diplomas, and in a few rare cases even bachelor degrees. He also organised Prison Industry (PI), allowing inmates to gain work experience so that when they are released they are less likely to turn back to a life of crime. At the time of Michael?s arrest, Henry Pope had been trying to erect a replica of the Taj Mahal for his wife?s 40th anniversary present. However, not being very knowledgeable in the engineering area, he recruits Michael to help him out upon finding out that Michael is a structural engineer. During this time, their relationship deepens and Henry starts to mistakenly trust Michael, and leaves Michael sometimes unattended, but Michael abuses his trust and uses this time to further his escape plans. Many years ago, while Pope was in Toledo, he had an affair that resulted in the birth of his illegitimate son, Will Clayton. The mother of his child didn?t want Pope to have anything to do with him thus resulting in the fact that he had little or no contact with his son. In this case the apple fell very far from the tree and Will turned to a life of crime and drugs thus resulting in his death at the tender age of 18. Henry has not forgiven himself for his son?s death and believes it is his fault. Pope told his wife Judith about the affair in Toledo, but never told her of the existence of his son Will. Agents Kellerman and Hale tried to use this information as blackmail when they wanted to transfer Michael. However, Pope refused the transfer and told Judith about Will himself. On the night of the escape, when working on the Taj Michael took a vital piece of the structure that without it the Taj would collapse. When Pope called Michael back to check on why the Taj was starting to collapse when moved, Michael took out a shank and forced Pope to transfer Lincoln to the infirmary. Henry was extremely shocked and felt betrayed by Michael because he thought that their relationship was real and felt that Michael had been faking it all along. But Michael did gain respect for Henry, and it did hurt him to wrong the man who had been just and fair to him, as we see the expression of pain of his face when he apologises to Henry for knocking him out in episode 21.

Amaury Nolasco

Amaury Nolasco

Character: Fernando Sucre

Date of Birth: December 24th, 1970

Age: 37

Puerto Rican native Amuary Nolasco's original plan was to go to medical school and become a doctor. Those plans changed when he was approached by a director and was cast in his first television commercial. He moved to New York to train at the American British Dramatic Arts School.
Soon Amuary found himself guest-starring on several popular television shows including Arli$$, 2 CSIs (the original CSI and CSI: NY), ER, George Lopez and Eve. His movie credits include 2 Fast 2 Furious, Benchwarmers, Mr. 3000, Orange Julius.
Uou can catch him this summer when he stars in the much-anticipated Transformers.

Fernando Sucre

Fernando Sucre, of Puerto Rican descent, but grew up in Chicago, Illinois. His level of education is unknown, but we can assume that it is not as high as Michael's, especially when Sucre asked if passion was spelt with an "h". Throughout his life, Sucre has been on the streets doing petty crimes, such as shoplifting, stealing cars but he was never caught. When Lincoln expressed surprise at Sucre knowing how to steal cars and thought that he was only arrested for armed robbery, Fernando is quoted saying; "That's what they caught me doing".
Sucre met his fiance, Maricruz Delgado (Camille Guaty), two years before his arrest. In fact, the reason for Sucre's arrest is that he held up a liquor store so that he could buy an engagement ring for Maricruz. Hector (Kurt Caceres), Sucre's cousin, tipped off the police. Hector has taken no pains in trying to conceal his interest in Maricruz. In fact when Maricruz moved to New York because of a new job, Hector requested for a transfer to New York as well.
Maricruz has been a faithful girlfriend to Sucre. She attended monthly conjugals before Bellick took them away and she accepted Sucre's proposal. However upon learning about her pregnancy, Maricruz honestly told Sucre that she might not wait for him and is contemplating marrying Hector.
Sucre had been a perfect inmate before Michael became his cellmate, in hope of being able to be out in the shortest time possible so that he can be with Maricruz. For that reason, when Michael told him of his escape plan, Sucre refused to have anything to do with him and moved out. However after Hector visited Sucre and told him that Maricruz was with him, Sucre went back to Michael begging him to let him back in. "I'll dig like a psychotic rodent if I have to."
Sucre may not be intelligent, but he did come up with a few ideas and he has guts and is willing to do what is necessary so that he may be with Maricruz and his unborn child. At the beginning, Sucre was always slightly wary of Michael and his plans, and even more so when C-Note starts to talk to him, implying that Michael was taking advantage of him and may ditch him.
However, Sucre and Michael soon developed a strong relationship where they trusted each other and were extremely loyal to one another. This is shown especially when Sucre stood up for him when the rest of the group showed their anger towards Michael after the first failed escape attempt. When Sucre is released from the SHU and Michael from the psych ward, the hug they share cements their friendship and shows how far they have come from the beginning of the season when Sucre refuses to have anything to do with Michael.

Sucre is currently on the run with the other inmates.

Peter Stormare started acting at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Sweden, and was there for eleven years before he became the Associate Artistic Director at the Tokyo Global theatre in which he became famous for his Shakespeare productions. Peter was only there for three years before he moved to New York to break America. And break America Peter did. After changing his name at the acting academy to ?Stormare? to distinguish himself from a fellow student at the Royal Dramatic Theatre who also had the name ?Peter Storm?, Peter Stormare has shown himself to be a talented chameleon, as he has been picked to portray men from different European backgrounds. Peter?s talents do not confine themselves to acting only, he is also part of the band ?Blonde from Fargo? and runs his own record label ?StormVox?. Peter Stormare has a daughter Kelly from his previous marriage to Karen Sillas, and he is currently married to Toshimi Stormare. He is also the godfather of Gustaf Skarsgard, son of Stellan Skarsgard, another famous Swedish actor.

John Abruzzi

Never get on the wrong side of John Abruzzi (Peter Stomare), Michael learned the hard way, or you might be minus a toe or two. John Abruzzi is one ruthless guy, and will go to any lengths to get what he wants. Otto Fibonnaci witnessed Abruzzi killing two men, and he is currently in the witness protection program after testifying against Abruzzi. Abruzzi wants Fibonacci, and Michael can get to him. Former Chicago mob boss Abruzzi is a celebrity prisoner, everyone?s heard of him, ?John Abruzzi John Abruzzi?? Michael asks. Abruzzi has his right hand men who answer ?how high?? to Abruzzi?s order to jump. John runs PI (Prison Industry) by having his outside men paying Bellick a certain sum of money every month. Abruzzi tries to scare Fibonacci?s address out of Michael, but after cutting his toes off and Michael still kept his mouth shut, Abruzzi tried the opposite approach and joined Michael?s escape team, ?Maybe the Beatles were right, maybe all you need is love.? Abruzzi and T-Bag were never the best of friends. However, their relationship turned even more sour after one of Abruzzi?s men accidentally killed T-Bag?s cousin James and James? son, who was being used as a human shield, when one of Abruzzi?s orders went wrong. This affected John Abruzzi a lot, and caused him to become more religious. He then asked T-Bag to back out of the escape, and T-Bag, thinking that Abruzzi was going to kill him, agreed. However, Abruzzi?s new religious character prevented T-Bag?s death, but T-Bag seized the moment and slit Abruzzi?s throat. But Abruzzi survived this almost fatal blow, but not before Michael thought that Abruzzi was out for good and messes up his plans. Fortunately, Abruzzi rejoins the escape plan on his return to Fox River and seems to be a changed man. Abruzzi seems more calm, religious and forgiving and we are lulled into a false sense of security about Abruzzi. Abruzzi escaped with the rest of the prisoners, and shocked us by brutally severing T-Bag?s hand with an axe after T-Bag cuffs himself to Michael, thus getting his revenge and ridding the group of T-Bag. Abruzzi is currently on the run with the other inmates.

Robin Tunney

Robin Tunney

Character: Veronica Donovan

Date of Birth: June 19th, 1972

Age: 35

This green eyed Irish American beauty had been offered roles as early as 18 years old in television shows such as Law and Order, Class of ?96 and Life Goes On. Veronica Donovan

Veronica Donovan and Lincoln Burrows are as different as chalk and cheese. However growing up together and sharing their lives gave enough common ground for them to fall in love. Despite Lincoln being a high school dropout, Veronica still dated him even though she attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she received a B.A. in political science, and also had a juris doctorate from Baylor Law School. Even though she was a real estate lawyer, she defended Michael in his trial as she had been a surrogate mother/sister to him during their childhood. ?You?ve been good to me Veronica,? Michael quotes. Being engaged to another man, Veronica cut ties with Lincoln and assumed that he was guilty. But after a series of events, Veronica then realised that Lincoln was actually innocent and immersed herself in proving his innocence, despite the fact that his execution was only a few weeks away. Not being familiar in criminal law, she asked Project Justice for help but was turned away. However, Nick Savrinn offered to help her and with his help, she eventually found Terence Steadman in Blackfoot, Montana. Veronica and Nick were not able to elude the secret service however, and were almost killed several times, but never backed down from their goal of proving Lincoln?s innocence. Veronica learned the hard way not to trust anyone. After helping her through out the whole way, Nick turned out to be hired by Abruzzi to keep an eye on her and have her ?ready and waiting? as a hostage. In the end though, Nick showed his true nobility by letting Veronica go and telling her to go to Blackfoot alone.

Lincoln had a son, LJ with Lisa Rix.

When Michael was 18, Lincoln borrowed $90,000 for Michael's education, telling him that it was half of his mother's life insurance because he knew that Michael would never accept it otherwise. Lincoln was determined for Michael not to waste his potential and turn out like him.

However, Lincoln was unable to pay back the $90,000, and eventually was given an ultimatum: "Kill the Vice-President's brother and your debt will be wiped away. If you don't, your son will be killed". Not having a choice, Lincoln took a gun from Bo, and went to the parking lot. When he took the gun from Bo, he tried two different guns out, thus planting his fingerprints on one he was going to use, and on one he gave back to Bo. The latter gun was used in the murder.

However when he arrived at the parking garage, Terrence Steadman was already "dead". Caught on camera with the gun pointing towards the car, a little bit of professional "decorating" of the video showed Lincoln firing the gun, thus proving his so-called guilt.

Lincoln Burrows pled not guilty, but was found so and was then sentenced to death by electrocution. His death was set for 11th May. His execution was delayed for two weeks when his father sent documents to the judge, giving Michael more time for the escape.

After his son's arrest, he was granted permission to visit him, a rare occurrence. However it was soon discovered why. The prison van was crashed, in hope that Lincoln would be killed.

However, he was saved by his father, who then revealed to him why he was being targeted; Lincoln's father had leaked classified information about Ecofield. Hence, in order to capture Lincoln's father, "The Company" put Lincoln on death row to force him out into the open.

Lincoln Burrows is currently on the run with his brother and several other dangerous inmates.

Alexander Mahone
14 years with the FBI should be enough experience to catch 8 escaped convicts, but Mahone has his work cut out with Scofield. Alexander Mahone is the first person to crack several of Michael's codes on his tattoo's. In fact, Mahone has gotten reasonably close to catching Michael on two occasions, but Scofield managed to slip away.

There have been clues to suggest that this is not Mahone's first difficult assignment, with the name "Oscar Shales" constantly popping up causing Mahone stress and anxiety which results in his addiction to midazolam, which he keeps hidden in his pen. Midazolam has powerful hypnotic, skeletal muscle relaxant and sedative properties.

Michael Scofield revealed to the world why the name Oscar Shales causes Mahone so much distress, Mahone murdered him and buried him in his back garden. This secret had cost Mahone his family, his wife Pam and his 5 year old son, Cameron.

Mahone tracked down four of the Fox River 8, Abruzzi, Apolskis, Franklin and Patoshik who are all deceased except for Franlin. After unsuccessfully chasing Michael Scofield around the country, Mahone tracked him down in Panama, South America where they are both currently incarcerated in Sona.

Wentworth Miller

Wentworth Miller

Character: Michael Scofield

Date of Birth: June 2nd, 1972

Age: 35

Wentworth Earl Miller III describes himself as an "overnight success 10 years in the making". 6' 1/2" Wentworth is of African, Jamaican, English, and German descent on his father's side, and of Russian, French, Dutch, Syrian and Lebanese descent on his mother's side. His father, Wentworth Earl Miller II, is a Lawyer and a graduate of Yale and his mother, Roxann is a Special Education Teacher and is also a graduate of Yale. Wentworth has two younger sisters, Gillian and Leigh, who are both law graduates and he is allergic to cats, dogs and certain foods.
He was born in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, England, UK where his father was a Rhodes Scholar to be precise, on 2nd June 1972. At the age of one, his parents took him back to the States and he grew up in Brooklyn, New York.

Wentworth grew up in Brooklyn, and started off at Midwood High School but went to Pennsylvania for his senior year with his father and graduated in 1990 from Quaker Valley Senior High School. In high school, he was part of the Judo and track club and also in a chorus.
He then went to Princeton to study English Literature, where he joined an a-capella group, The Princeton Tigertones. After graduating from Princeton in 1995, Wentworth worked as a lowly assistant in the development department of a production company, and also worked in Borders Bookstore.

He had loved acting as a child, but decided not to pursue it professionally until he had finished his education. However, after working for some time in the production company, he realized how much he really wanted to act, his first acting role was in Buffy the Vampire Slayer in 1997.
His first big movie role was as young Coleman Silk in "The Human Stain" (2003), which also starred Anthony Hopkins and Nicole Kidman. This was a powerful role for Wentworth Miller, because of his similar racial background and also because of an incident that happened when young Wentworth was in Princeton. One of his cartoons was misinterpreted as racism, and everyone assumed that Wentworth was white and he gained the reputation of being racist. Wentworth, knowing that he was in the right, did not feel that he had to explain himself and his racial background, but he did apologise to Cornel West, the African-American professor whom he based the cartoon on, who was present at the premiere and hugged Wentworth.
Wentworth's comments about this incident: "To be perfectly clear, passing is something that has never crossed my mind. Instead of stepping forward and explaining what I'd meant by the cartoon and positing my own racial background as evidence that I'd really meant no harm, I chose to remain silent. My attitude was, If they don't get it, I don't have to explain it, which was my way of saying that if they don't get me, I don't have to explain me. The people who knew me on campus and knew my background knew where I was coming from, but I think for most people I was just a name in the paper, and they probably assumed I was white."
You may have also seen him in two Mariah Carey videos: It's Like That and We Belong Together, which were directed by Brett Ratner. Wentworth met Brett Ratner when he auditioned for the part of Superman/Clark Kent in "Superman Returns" when Ratner was meant to direct the film.

Wentworth is now starring in Prison Break, which earned him a 2005 Golden Globe Nomination for "Best actor in a drama series".
Michael Scofield

Michael Scofield is one of a kind in the A-Wing. No previous convictions, this inmate had an immaculate record before committing armed robbery at the Chicago branch of United Savings bank. "A wrong turn", he explains.

Scofield attended Morton East High School and then graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S., civil engineering and M.S., civil engineering from the Loyola University of Chicago. At the time of his arrest he was employed as a structural engineer in Middleton, Maxwell and Schaum located in Chicago, Illinois.

Michael is the younger brother of Lincoln Burrows ( Dominic Purcell ), the man accused of the scandalous murder of the Vice-President's brother. His father left when he was too young to remember, and was told that he was an "old, abusive drunk", but was he? As a result, Michael took his mother's maiden name whereas Lincoln kept his father's surname.
Scofield's mother died of liver cancer when he was 11 years old, so now the only family he has left is Lincoln and his nephew (Lincoln's son) Lincoln Junior (LJ) Burrows (Marshall Allman). However, Veronica Donovan (Robin Tunney) has been there for him his whole life and has been good to him, he quotes. Miss Donovan is also his lawyer.

Before his arrest, Scofield used to see a psychiatrist who diagnosed him with having Low Latent Inhibition. This condition, combined with his high IQ has made him a creative genius and has helped him plan the escape meticulously, and with such immense detail. Over the course of four months, Michael had the entire layout of the prison tattooed onto his upper body, hidden within gothic imagery of battling angels and demons. His chest features an image of a angel slaying a demon and contains blueprints of the prison's underground tunnels and passageways. His back has the angel attacking the demon and hides an overhead view of the layout of the prison. His arms contain numerous clues and reminders (e.g. chemical formulae, phone numbers, names of necessary parts he must procure within the prison, etc.)

Scofield married Nika Volek (Holly Valance) to help him with his escape, but has shown immense interest in Dr Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) when getting his insulin shots. He also had a deep relationship with the warden Henry Pope. Michael is not diabetic, but has gotten access to PUGNAC from C-Note (Rockmond Dunbar) which lowers his insulin levels to make him seem like a diabetic, thus getting regular access to the infirmary. Two of Michael's toes were cut off by John Abruzzi, a mafia boss who wanted to extract the location of mob informant Otto Fibonacci from Michael. When Michael refused to crack, he struck a deal: Abruzzi would supply an escape plane in exchange for Fibonacci's address.

Scofield's back number is 94941 and is sharing cell 40 with Fernando Sucre (Amaury Nolasco).
Michael Scofield successfully broke out of Fox River and had eluded the authorities for more than a month. During this time, Scofield met up with his father, Aldo Burrows, and revealed that he has in fact met him before at the age of 10 when Aldo, then an unknown face, rescued him from an abusive foster father who used to beat Michael then lock him up. Michael Scofield is currently in Sona, a prison located in Panama, South America.
